Raft guides and other passengers helped others escape the wreckage by using the rear emergency exit. Six people transported to Canon City hospital for treatment of injuries and other six passengers, ages ranging from 13- to 48-years-old, were treated for minor to moderate injuries. One female victim, identified as a 24-year-old Thermal, California resident, was taken to St. Thomas More Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
