According to a police report, a 22-year-old woman injured in a car accident Wednesday in the Grove neighborhood was admitted to a Denver hospital for treatment. Police report says that the victim name is Amber R. Trujillo.
According to Pueblo police, she had dropped a relative off at a bar and was leaving the parking lot at Santa Fe Avenue and C Street when she was hit by a truck driven by Jeremiah Huelsman, 30, of Pueblo West. Trujillo was extricated from her car, was taken to Parkview Medical Center but later she transferred to a Denver hospital for treatment. A police officer, Jeff Capito, said Trujillo could be possibly cited for failing to yield to the right-of-way when proceeding into traffic.
